Mission Statement
Road2ACure is out doing what others won’t. Speaking our minds and actively engaging those affected by pancreatic cancer and those responsible for finding a cure. Finding and funding the best science and increasing the numbers of researchers to increase survivor rates is paramount. This includes survivors, oncologists, medical centers, policy makers and legislators, activists, and caregivers. As the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths, for pancreatic cancer to receive less than 2% of the National Cancer Institutes annual budget, is appalling. The time has come to increase awareness of and raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. Survival is possible.

Being vocal – in our correspondences, our dealings, and out meetings…we speak up.
Being active–we are on the road, rallying survivors, in the medical centers and in politics.

Meeting with patients and survivors – on the road putting in face time with these individuals.
Stories of survival –sharing collected stories of inspiration and survival from around the nation.
Support – supporting the diagnosed and caregivers alike with credible information and resources

Research – finding and funding the best science and establishing “best practices”
Institutes – dedicated research centers for tackling the unique challenges of pancreatic cancer
Grants – funding revolutionary, not evolutionary research for innovative possibilities
